Helmet cam system

The snow season is nearly upon us so here are a couple of gadget ideas to make your next ski or boarding holiday more memorable.
It's always hard trying to convey the joys of a run, so how about immortalising your finest record breaker with this handy gadget, dude!
The Oregon Scientific AT18 ATC2K Waterproof Action Camera is a digital video camera that enables users to capture video and audio clips of their recreational activities. The captured footage can be replayed on a television or you can edit it on a PC and either share the action with friends through an Internet connection or copy it back
to the camera.

Burton Communication

What about a communications system to keep in touch with your buddies on the slopes? Feel like snowboarding special forces with this baby. Just think, no more waiting around at the bottom for the slow coaches, do another run and meet up for a hot chocolate in the cafe. Genius!
Burton Snowboards has added Fibretronic's PTT technology to its Audex range of jackets and backpacks for sale Winter 2007.
The PTT technology (push-to-talk) is a remote communications system designed for the easy operation of two-way radios. By exporting the push-to-talk switch and the microphone and speaker units to a useful position on the garment, the system allows the wearer to communicate without needing to remove the radio handset from an internal pocket.

LED Car Sign

Christmas is coming and so is the dreaded last-minute shopping, accompanied by a legion of morons on the road all desperate to purchase that special gift but don't give a monkeys about other
poor road users in the process. It can get frustrating trundling along at 2 mph to get into the local shopping centre car park, so the inevitable and puerile hand gestures always seem to follow.
This silly gadget can illuminate to whoever is behind you a "Smiley Face", "Winking Face", "Thanks", "Back Off" or "Sorry". This should defuse any over-heated nonsense that goes on out on the open road unless of course the person behind has no sense of humour, so make sure you lock the doors prior to said digital face-pulling.

Happy holidays

Lesser known US-based marketing, advertising and research consultants Marc USA, tell it how it is with "Marketing at Christmas". A frank and humourous admission to the general public in the States of how they are manipulated into spending their hard-earned cash at this festive time.

Mock The Week Prince Philip

This is an hilarious bit of improved dubbing, courtesy of Hugh Dennis (of The Mary Whitehouse Experience fame - with David Baddiel and Rob Newman). It's from Mock the Week, BBC 2's top-rated satirical comedy show that innovatively combines elements of a panel show with stand-up comedy, off-the-cuff games and improvised role play.
