Sourceforge.net launches CPL programme

Sourceforge has launched a CPL solution that provides IT vendors with a quality medium for generating sales leads through IP and channel or content targeting.
Sourceforge.net is the world's largest open-source software community website, offering a centralised resource for managing projects, issues, communications and code. IT professionals, IT managers and developers engage with the site and generate more than three million downloads a day.

Woolworths reborn online
The Woolworths brand is to be relaunched as an online retailer after being bought by Daily Telegraph owners, Sir David and Sir Frederick Barclay.
The much-loved High Street chain went into administration last November and its more than 800 stores closed a month ago after struggling with debts of £385m. They are confident that Woolworths, as an online brand, will once again prosper and quite rightly stay at the heart of British retailing.

90% of waking hours spent staring at glowing rectangles
It may come as no real surprise to you but a new report published on 15 June by researchers at Stanford University suggests that folk in America spend the vast majority of each day staring at, interacting with, and deriving satisfaction from glowing rectangles.
It's a crazy statistic when you think about it, and your mothers words come back to haunt you: 'If you don't stop watching that TV you'll get square eyes.' (Well, rectangular ones now). Time to unplug and go sit in the wilderness for a few days sharpening sticks and making fires.
