Bright Giant get dirty with HooverBright Giant get dirty with Hoover

Bright Giant’s awesome Hoover campaign is live! Bright Giant has combined its talents in video production and digital marketing to produce Hoover’s first ever UK digital marketing campaign. The campaign, conceived and driven by Bright Giant is certain to cause some buzz!

The campaign, ‘Get Dirty with Hoover’, pushes the boundaries of white goods advertising through innovative viral marketing content, which Bright Giant planned and produced using a myriad of responsive online media, product video and supporting banners. The brief was to create a campaign to produce leads and awareness for the launch of Hoover’s new Dynamic 10kg washing machine.

A follow on campaign, entitled, ‘How Dirty Can You Get’ will run off the back of the initial campaign, encouraging the public to upload photos of themselves getting dirty in order to win one of the Hoover 10kg washing machines (with an obvious 24 hour delay for vetting purposes!)

Most of you have seen the Get Dirty with Hoover viral, but check out the website for another peek. The Bright Giant team are also encouraging everyone to get involved in the ‘How Dirty Can you Get’ element of the campaign – so upload your dirty pics and pass on the link!

Kingpin Intelligence’s French Developer Trends

survey results released

The French wave of Kingpin Intelligence’s annual Developer Trends survey is out next week. The telephone survey, conducted to French software and web developers reveals key insights into the audience’s marketing and community behaviour.

The 2009 survey, tracks technology adoption, along with vendor satisfaction and industry trends in the UK, France and Germany.

The results reveal that while the French developer market is not significantly suffering from the financial downturn, budget cuts have become a real concern. Comparatively, French developers are acting more cautiously to Cloud/SaaS applications when compared to their peers in the UK. In terms of engagement, French developers seem to be far less engaged with software vendors than those in the UK.

If you are interested in a free preview of the survey results, please contact Claire Roy, Head of Research at Kingpin Intelligence.
