eWeek comes to the UK
Net Media Europe has partnered with Ziff Davis to launch eWeek to the UK audiences. Offering a mixture of US and UK content, eWeek brings an alternative route to the IT Professional community. With a range of commercial options from site based advertising to cost per lead programmes eWeek has launched with 88,137 unique users in its first month.

Only 18% of UK developers use vendor training when learning new technologies.
Results from the Kingpin Intelligence Developer Trends research indicate that 93% of UK developers learn new tools and technologies at their desk or in their spare time. Eighteen percent choose to attend vendor technical training and 13% pay for independent training courses.
"These results are supported by the respondents reporting lack of time and money to learn new technologies and indicate an increasing reliance on quality online training and information sources," says Claire Roy, Head of Research at Kingpin Intelligence.
The results are part of the European Developer Trends survey conducted by Kingpin Intelligence in the UK, France and Germany. Please contact us for more information.
